Build a Multimedia Player
We’ll take a look at this lab that focuses on working with audio and video elements!
HTML Accessibility Review
We’ve gone through a lot of topics to make our websites more accessible. Some of the topics we’ve looked at so far include:
- WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines)
- Assistive technologies for accessibility (Screen readers, large text or Braille keyboards, screen magnifiers, alternative pointing devices, voice recognition tools)
- Accessibility auditing tools (Google Lighthouse, WAVE, IBM Equal Accessibility Checker)
- Best practices for making our websites more accessible
- WAI-ARIA, Roles, and Attributes
HTML Review
We’ve gone through four units in our exploration of HTML:
- Basic HTML (Identifiers and Grouping, Special Characters and Linking, Boilerplate and Encoding, SEO and Social Sharing, Media Elements and Optimization, Multimedia Integration, Paths and Link Behavior)
- Semantic HTML (Importance of Semantic HTML, Semantic HTML Elements)
- Forms and Tables (HTML Form Elements and Attributes, Working with HTML Table Elements and Attributes, HTML Tools)
- Accessibility (Assistive Technology for Accessibility, Accessibility Auditing Tools, Accessibility Best Practices, WAI-ARIA, Roles, and Attributes)
